Things beauty salons do that annoy you

I love a treatment - lashes facial massage or whatever. But there’s certain gripes I have

1. At the start when they allow you far too much time to get undressed. Lady - I’m taking my jeans off and hopping on a bed. You don’t need 10 min break
2. putting a face mask on and just sitting there (I’ve complained about this). Arm or head massage please! I’m paying
3. short timing you. I’ve paid an hour. I don’t expect to be at the cash desk in 50 min

what do I love ? When they do a fab head masssge as a mask takes - had one yesterday other used a brush
love those ones ?Aveda? When they wash your feet first. That’s weird and good.

I don't like being talked to when I'm having a facial or massage , I'm there to relax not hold a conversation with a stranger .

Putting oil all up in my hair during a facial.

Slagging off my skincare routine.

Telling me I need massages more often ( I know, I simply can’t afford them)

Trying to flog me their products.

The 10 minute wait for you to get dressed is universal and sends me into a rage every time. What with the 'consultation' that's 20 mins knocked off your treatment.

I know tell them they don't need to leave the room, jump in any say I'm ready.

Yes, about flogging products, although I do feel sorry for the technicians because they often have to do it by their boss

They expect I'll want to chat. I don't. I'm not interested in small talk, I just want to zone out for a little while.

I despise head massages. And I feel really rude having to stop them. Would much rather be asked so I can say “no thank you”
