What do you wear with these? Style gurus help please

I really fancy one of these knitted tie front waistcoats but what do you wear with them? Can you wear long sleeves underneath in winter?

I'm definitely more of a skirt/dress person too, would these work? Would really appreciate your thoughts

I'm not sure long sleeves would suit it IMO. You could wear a nice bralette or cami, but I think it looks best with nothing underneath. Difficult to style definitely

You could wear it with a body underneath? A nice lacey one but it'd give you a bit of coverage.

I think it's supposed to be worn as its pictured. If you can't carry it off (I wouldn't be able to) maybe try a more regular waistcoat?

Yea absolutely nothing underneath or at most a bra that’s meant to be on show.

if you want a waistcoat to wear with long sleeves underneath, the sort of embroidered almost quilted ones would be ok for that, not a tailored or knitted one IMO..
