Hi

Hope this is the right board. 16yo girl becoming interested in skincare routine/products. Mine is minimal for a middle aged woman and had the same products for years!

Please recommend brand/products for teen that we can look at.

Thanks

My dd14 uses Byoma jelly cleanser, balancing face mist, clarifying serum and moisturising gel cream. She is prone to breakouts. Ds gf uses the ordinary products but I'm not sure what products she uses

Probably the Inkeylist. Inexpensive and available in Boots. All over tik tok too.

I've used Clinique since I was a teenager. I found their oil free moisturisers and foundations were really good for me as a teen as I have oily, spot-prone skin.

Also benefit has some nice products with multi-use products like benetint which you can use for lips and cheeks. A lot of people love their mascaras too. You can get a small travel kit of benefit or clinique to test out. Or you could go to a department store and speak to a consultant. This all probably sounds very old-fashioned to a teen but it's nice to get in-person advice and then can try the make up there and then before buying it.

Another vote for byoma- it's "in" with the younger age group!

My DD also uses a lot of simple products, she has quite sensitive skin and they're reasonably priced!
