Perfume Detectives Assemble! I have a description of the bottle but don't know what it's called!

Calling any perfume experts! Can you help me track down a bottle of perfume for a bereaved friend?

It was her sister's first expensive perfume. She would love to find it again. The smell will remind her of her sister. Here are the details she can remember:

Bought in 2015 in Jenners, Edinburgh
Was £90 at the time
Very Musky scent
Rectangular style bottle a bit like Floris (pic attached)
Hand written font
Looking like written in Pencil / charcoal
Was very plain bottle
French or Italian name
Label could possible have been pale beige or pink.

We have ruled out Penhaligons, Boema by Granada and Floris.

Thank you so much for your help. I don't normally post on Chat. If we can track this down it will mean so much to my friend, who is bereft. ❤️

Hi, I was a perfume blogger from 2023 until 2023 and have co authored a perfume book. The only bottles that I can think of that match that description may be the early Maison Francis Kurkdjian bottles. I can't pinpoint the exact perfume you describe, but did the bottle look anything like this?

@MissBattleaxe Maison Francis was the first thing I thought of too.

@BeerPlease there's loads of scents this perfumer makes so if the bottle and label is right it's just finding the right one.

Sarah McCartney is on Facebook and is very knowledgeable, so you could friend her and ask?

Atkinson's perfume bottles look a bit like the one on your photo. I just thought I'd add it as is a very established and classic perfume house but obviously neither a French or Italian name!
