Where can I get nice jeans for DS1 (8)?

He?s managed to put a hole in the knee of his only pair. They were from Sainsbury?s but they don?t seem to have anything nice now, just turn-up ones which would be annoying.

They MUST have that adjustable elastic as due to his lanky legs he tends to need 9-10 or even 10-11, but of course they are then enormous round t?waist.

DH tried for some in Asda but no go. Am I out of season? Will it all be shorts? Looked in H&M too but they weren?t adjustable. I refuse to pay more than about £14 for a pair of jeans esp if he is going to hole them after a few months.

Anyone seen any?

Next jeans are adjustable. My ds wears 'em.

Gap do good kids jeans. I got some for DD from Adams. Both had adjustable waistbands.

I was sent over a few pairs of jeans for both ds's just after Christmas, from Primark.

I cannot believe how well they have lasted, not sure how much they cost, but can't imgine they'd be expensive. Highly recommended. They all have adjustable waistbands too.

I buy all of ds trousers/jeans from Tesco. They normally have a good selection with adjustable waists.

Thanks for tips all.

Nipped into Next today as we were near it and bagged a pair for £8 which DS is happy with.

Bizarrely they also had pairs for £19 , couldn't see why as they weren't any nicer and in fact they didn't fit DS at all.
