Glowy tinted moisturiser recommendations for menopausal skin please!

I recently had a sample of a clinicare tinted liquid moisturiser which I loved. I ordered the full size and they appear to have changed the formula and it's nothing like as nice. It's thicker and doesn't give the same glow. I eked out the sample for 3 days and I got a compliment about my skin every single day I wore it. I'm gutted that the full size is so disappointing.

I'm looking for something lightweight that gives a sort of dewy, healthy glow. I don't need full coverage but a decent SPF would be good and I'm pale and freckly so nothing too orange. The clinicare one was £45 so anything up to that sort of price.

Any recommendations?

I like The Ordinary dewy SPF moisturiser. I'll try to find a link.

Livedandlearned · 23/08/2024 19:49

Oh maybe not, I've just seen you wanted a tinted moisturiser, sorry

Babychewtoy · 23/08/2024 19:50

Bare minerals complexion rescue is very sheer and very glowy, I really like it.

Also love Nars tinted moisturiser but that is more like a light foundation than a tinted moisturiser.

SparklyBlueTop · 23/08/2024 19:56

Clinique Even Better?
Nars?
Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser?

Purplecatshopaholic · 23/08/2024 19:57

I like Erborian cc cream, or the IT Cosmetics cc nude glow. Both tinted moisturisers with spf, both really lovely.

MoveOnTheCards · 23/08/2024 19:59

I have dry skin and love Clinique cc cream, I use it instead of a foundation or tinted moisturiser as it has good coverage for a cc, is lighter and gives a good finish.

Have you thought about using a glowy primer under a light foundation?

There are loads around- Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Clinique etc.

Even Boots No 7 Hydraluminous is nice if you can get the shade. They stopped doing the very palest one but the next shade up might work.

45 pale and freckled person here. I tried the often recommended Eborian cream but couldn’t get on with it. Much prefer Origins Ginzing tinted spf40 which is around £30.

Elf Halo Glow. It's a dupe for something more expensive, I think. Charlotte Tilbury or something. Anyway, it's definitely dewy and glowy!

Fayrazzled · 23/08/2024 20:24

I love the new Charlotte Tilbury Unreal Skin foundation stick. Although it is called a foundation stick it isn't really a foundation. It is very light and blendable and glowy. I've and so many compliments when wearing it (am 48).

It's Calico that's out of stock. I had to go down to Porcelain. Going up to Vanilla was so dark!

sillysausage92 · 23/08/2024 20:36

I've gone through so many and Erborian is by far the best!!

ZeroFucksGivenToday · 23/08/2024 20:38

Another vote for the Charlotte tilbury foundation stick. Swipe over with the stick, use hands to blend. Takes minutes and is glowy and lush. I love it.

SparkyBlue · 23/08/2024 20:40

I love Rosalique. It's actually an anti redness formula but as I'm also pale with freckles I'm prone to redness and this is absolutely amazing. Probably not glowy but I've oily skin so I have a natural glow lol.

I hope they haven't stopped making Calico! It's the only shade of any make up that is a perfect match for me. Can anyone recommend an alternative?

BTsrule · 23/08/2024 20:41

Trinny BFF serum. It’s expensive but lasts a while and does give skin a dewy fresh glow

rubyslipperss · 23/08/2024 20:41

I like the Clinique Even Better , you can build it up but I use low coverage , not quite tinted moisturiser but next level up and glowy.

UnimaginableWindBird · 23/08/2024 20:42

I mix Missha BB cream with Elf Halo Glow for a gently dewy complexion.

Mammamia321 · 23/08/2024 20:42

NARS tinted moisturiser is amazing.

BackToWhereItAllBegan · 23/08/2024 20:45

Another vote for Nars tinted moisturiser, I mix it in with Clarins beauty flash balm for a light, glowy coverage.

needhelpwiththisplease · 23/08/2024 20:46

Estée Lauder every day

SouthernFashionista · 23/08/2024 20:52

I’ve tried them all and recently been really impressed with Jones Road What the Foundation. It’s moisturising so you can put it straight on and blends beautifully. I’m not saying my quest is over but v happy with it right now.

stayathomer · 23/08/2024 20:53

If you can find the right shade clarins bb cream is wow!

It doesn't look good. It's been months 😞 but like I say, Porcelain has been a good match for me. Just slightly lighter which'll be fine, especially once my "tan" fades

BotterMon · 23/08/2024 20:56

I love this by Clarins. It's not expensive (on offer at the moment!) and lasts for ages.
