I like it but don't think it's right for a wedding unless it's very casual.

Leopard print can work well but the fabric and design need to be good quality. This one has neither

CluelessAboutCars · 22/08/2024 16:55

I’ve just seen the picture of the model wearing it.
Definitely not suitable for a wedding.

MayaPinion · 22/08/2024 16:55

It’s very short and would look tacky if styled ‘up’ (heels, jacket, clutch, etc) though it looks great styled ‘down’ (socks, loafers). It could possibly work if you were a young teen into yoof fashion, but otherwise it probably wouldn’t look great wearing socks and loafers to a wedding.

I think the style is ok for a night out but not a wedding.

I think if you are the kind of person who posts on mumsnet to ask their approval, then that dress is definitely not for you.

😂 That’s quite well put! Though she might have thought “ let’s ask the most disapproving people I can think of.” And of course most of us obliged!

Oh yes, that's what I meant. Just not quite the right style for most weddings

SaintHonoria · 22/08/2024 17:10

Grayson Perry vibes.

I like it

I wore a leopard print dress to a wedding recently.

Only thing with it is you need to dress it down rather than up. So simple jewellery, flat sandals etc

yikesanotherbooboo · 22/08/2024 17:17

Greatly depends on the type of wedding. If it is for an evening party it looks fine to me but it isn't really daytime wedding attire .

It looks like a child's dress!

It reminds me of the puffball dresses of the 80s...only less nice.
