Stacees Wedding Dress - or similar?

I absolutely 100% love everything about the dress in this pic/link. The sleeves, the neckline, the fishtail, everything about it is exactly what I’m looking for. The problem is it’s online only and so cheap with just one picture I’m just not convinced it will actually look like that!

Has anyone seen anything super close to this on a more reliable site, or has anyone bought this or similar from Stacees that can reassure me?!

Thank you!

I've had a few dresses from JJs house and they've always been great quality. The actually do a try before you buy service where you pay £15 and the ship a sample dress out to you to try before you purchase a dress.

Thank you. I’ve not seen any on JJs that I like as much as this one but good to know the cheap sites aren’t necessarily awful quality.
Just feels like a bit of a gamble!

I might have just been one of the unfortunate ones, but the pictures online of the dress I bought were beautiful, but when it arrived it was nothing like the pictures. The lace details were grey, even though it was suppose to be an all white dress. The feel of the fabric was awful too.

I didn't choose the custom size option as I know someone who can do that for me, so I went with my standard dress size (so this may be my fault). At my waist, I could've torn it if I moved the wrong way, around my arms and chest, it was so baggy it fell down.

I had a hell of a time trying to return it too.

Sorry, posted to soon.

I went on to buy from JJ's and the dress was perfect and exactly what I wanted.

Check all the review sits for them they score low.

This is exactly what I’m worried about 😩
I’m not even trying to get it cheap, I’d gladly pay more but for this exact style, which just doesn’t seem to exist anywhere else. Nothing else I’ve seen has all the elements I’m looking for. Frustrating!

Be warned. Recently bought from Stacees. Dress wasn't suitable and proved absolutely impossible to return or get a refund.

Why don't you get it made. I had my wedding dress made because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted in the shops. Well I did, but I wasn't willing to pay £4500 for a plain dress.

We bought DDs prom dress from Stacees and it was beautiful and fitted like a dream

We gave her exact measurements which means you can't get a refund or return it but even if you get a standard size don't expect to return it that's the only issue you'll have

The material was a sort of a matt satin, it had a built in corset and bra cups.

It was only about £100 but she can wear it again so long as she doesn't grow up and out too much

She does have an amazing figure so anything will look good on her but it did fit perfectly in all the right places and was constructed perfectly

ClipTap · 22/08/2024 12:00

DDs dress was very fitted too and her figure is like the model wearing the white dress in your photo

I say if you're ok with losing £100 ish then just go for it which is what we did and we were very lucky

May I ask how much it cost? Never had anything made or even altered before so have absolutely no idea what a reasonable cost would be!

I may well do this 😆 We are on holiday atm with the plan being diet diet diet once we get home, and then buy dress in January when I know what size I’ll roughly be! Wedding in April. I can’t buy right now as do not intend on being my current size 😬 but that’s just giving me longer to stress about ordering it. Plus if it comes last minute and it’s crap god knows what I’ll end up wearing 😆
