I've worn Clinique quickliner for years, first in black/brown and then in dark chocolate. Its always been my go to.
At the weekend I ran out of eyeliner and haven't got round to buying a new one yet so today I put a fine line of mascara on my top lashes with a cotton bud, just to tide me over until I buy my eyeliner.
After work I bumped into a friend and she commented that I look different. I told her I had run out of eyeliner and I don't feel I have much make up on so I will soon be buying some more. I thought she was going to say the same but she said I look better. She said my eyeliner normally looks smudged and as if its wearing off and that I look more put together now.
This has made me wonder. I won't use mascara as an eyeliner all the time, but am thinking of getting a liquid liner in brown and just drawing a thin line on my top eyelid, along with mascara on my lashes. I am almost 63 by the way.
Do you think a change helps? The Clinique eyeliner has now gone up to nearly £23, it was £21 a few weeks ago. I don't mind paying for quality but if it looks smudgy all the time is is worth it?
