Why is it suddenly so hard to work out the length of a top?

Has anyone else found that tops are increasingly only shown on a model tucked in? It might be shown in full not on a model but I like to see how it will sit - I like a slightly longer top - that just touches the seat when sitting.

This is an example but I'm seeing it everywhere I feel.

Are there any sites which don't do this??

They do show the top in full later in the pictures tho....

Go to the shop.

I think it’s always been hard as even not tucked in, it depends so much on the model’s proportions. They could just state the length for each size but apparently returns are easier to deal with.

I think they show more tucked in tops as that is in fashion at present, so it’s the whole ‘styling’ they want to show. Maybe they hope you’ll get the jeans too for example.

I'm so with you on this one.

I'm a pretty standard shape so I do find model pictures helpful but only if they show the full thing.

I only shop online - never go to shops.

It's very frustrating!
