On the back of another thread I started about my chicken skin elbows a poster recommended exfoliating wash cloths.
in my explore round Amazon I fell down a rabbit hole and discovered you can buy whole huge wash towels.
The highest rated one- which gets amazing reviews- is about £20.
Anyone on here use them? I like the idea .🙂

I haven’t used these, but I do use a Korean Italy towel which is a small exfoliating towel which works amazingly well. They leave my skin so soft and smooth, so although I can’t comment on the Japanese towels, I can highly recommend the Korean ones.

I have the Korean Italy cloths which are amazing but I don’t like having a bath so I rarely use them ( the amount of skin that comes off my back and bum is unholy )

I bought some long thin cloths , brilliant for doing my back without help , I can put on shower gel and sluice the cloth back and forth. Also use for legs and upper arms
i got three in a pack , cannot recall the name but found in S&B

Can you not use the Korean towels in the shower then?

On the directions it says to have a long (30 minute) soak in hot , plain water. I find baths really boring and no bubbles😮. My blood pressure would be sky high in the heat.

The long thin ones work well in the shower maybe because I can physically shift it back and forward unlike the K.I cloth which DH has to help with .

I have the little Korean ones too. Use them in the shower and they make my skin super soft

I use the Salux exfoliating towels, off Amazon, with bar soap which lathers up nicely on the towels. That plus regular moisturising has kept the KP (keratosis pilaris, the prickly chicken skin thing) on my arms to a minimum. The long towels are easier to use on your back and behind and thus keep the chicken skin under control there too. They dry out after each use much faster than a normal washcloth, and you just throw them in a hot wash regularly to keep them sanitary. They last a really long time and I think are well worth the money.

It also helped my KP to switch from shower gel to bar soap, but that may just be my sensitive skin drying out from the shower gel.

Salux towels -that’s the ones.😀

I've used The Body Shop ones for years. Have also had Salux from Amazon and didn't like it. Too wide and didn't seem to lather as well. I've just stocked up on Body Shop as I'm always concerned that they stop making them https://www.thebodyshop.com/en-gb/body/accessories-tools/body-polisher/p/p000739

I use this one from Muji:

Great for cleaning my back. I also use it to exfoliate before shaving.

Yes, I also had a Muji one. They are a bit softer. I still prefer The Body Shop ones. That's the only thing I buy from The Body Shop and I'm sorry I have to :)
