What style dress would suit

Need a couple of work dresses. Business casual office with frequent client meetings where I need to be a bit smarter but not full on corporate.

Am short and plump (size 16/18). Have a waist but a big tummy too. So hourglass from the front but apple from the side. Very short waisted. Reasonable size boobs - not huge but there.

Won't be wearing heels other than a low ish heeled boot. Was thinking maybe chunky loafers.

I suit shirt and wrap dresses. For the last few years I've got midi length versions of these but really I'm too short and wide and they swamp me. Tiers and volume also swamp. I need drape and a bit of structure but not tailored (and no to the shift ;))

My issue with going shorter though is that they remind me of what I wore in the 2000s - jersey dress and knee boots was my work uniform for years. So my worry is I'll look dated even though the dress shape suited me.

Looking for ideas only so no budget per se.

I do like that actually and could try in petite as I think regular would get swampy.

I will need something more sober/plain but that's a good shout thank you.

Another White Stuff shirt dress, prints but some of them quite restrained. I think this one has a really nice neat shape.
