As above!

DP has an awards ceremony for work at the end of September and I’ll be 28 weeks pregnant. It’s not black tie (thank god) but the dress code is smart/formal.

I have no idea what to wear as I already feel large and uncomfortable, I was a size 14/16 pre-pregnancy and haven’t really gained any extra weight apart from my belly. I like and am comfortable in jumpsuits and midi dresses. I’m blonde and fair-skinned with cool undertones. I like both colourful and dark clothes. Red doesn’t suit me so I don’t wear it, and I don’t like purple (although lilac is okay) Grin my style is generally ‘alternative’. I love both plain and patterned clothes. My usual go-tos are Hell Bunny and Joanie just for an idea of what I like to wear.

I’m 5ft tall, haven’t worn heels since I was about 21 but don’t mind a comfy pair of wedges.

Please help dress me for the occasion 🙏🏼 thanks in advance!

A Disko Kids jumpsuit? https://www.diskokids.co.uk/collections/metallic-skirts/products/ladies-stretch-jumpsuit-black-rainbow
Fun and comfortable to wear but could be suitably dressed up, and would definitely accommodate a bump.

Oh I like that! It’s black (and safe!) but shiny so it appeals to my inner magpie Smile

I’ve got some strappy black sandals, similar to DM sandals, reckon they’d be alright for a posh-ish do? I’m prioritising comfort and stability as the ceremony is on a bloody boat!

Go for comfy but flaunt your bump with pride.

Probably! I’m always happier slightly underdressed in comparison to others than overdressed. And who’d dare to criticise a pregnant woman’s footwear? 😁

Seraphine have a good selection. I always found their stuff very comfortable when pregnant

That looks so comfy but I think I’d look a bit frumpy in it as it’s a little boxy at the top (and a bit pricey for something I probably wouldn’t wear again!)

Ooooh, some lovely stuff on there! Very sparkly 🤩

Nice to see some maternity bits that aren’t just the shapeless sacks high street shops have to offer 😂
