Maxi dress

I thought platfroms would dress it down a bit, as its quite a dressy dress.

I tried these on and they fitted, so they are my back up, but they are not my faves. I wanted something a bit different in the shape.I was trying to find chocolate all over, but have looked EVERYWERE. I dont really want to spend anymore than £75.

Thank you whoever can help.

Ive been dress shopping today too got a pink halterneck number from monsoon and also need some choc brown shoes to match. (I tried on a dress similar to yours, it was more black and white than orange and it was gorgeous, loved the panels of material that float down the front and back)

Thought it would be easy to find some brown satin shoes on the tinternet, but not so.... I think you could get away with those platforms with your dress, they would be a bit heavy wth mine.

Ive found some shoes in barratts sorry am rubbish at links, but there are 3 pairs online, one is from dolcis, have a look and let me know what you think!

melsy · 20/04/2008 21:25

Couldnt really see anything quite right. Im right fussy pants me! but thank you for the tip, forgot about Barrats.

Ive now really exasuted the below £75 set, is it me or is there not much choice anymore in the chains?

yes like those jakieno , if only they did a bitter chocolate. With all the colours already in the dress I didnt want to add another shade.

Fimbo · 20/04/2008 21:56

Has the dress got bits of orange in it? (hard to tell from pic).

What about these

Fimbo · 20/04/2008 21:57

You need to change the last link to orange.

flipflopper · 20/04/2008 21:58

dorothy perkins have a few brown wedges

melsy · 20/04/2008 22:06

myyyy those orange shoes take me back , I used to have a patent pair like that when I was a teen.

Its more coral than orange in the dress
