PSA re days of the week socks

Never ever ever think it's a good idea to buy your DP days of the week socks.

You know the ones: Different colour heel and toe for each day, with Monday or Tuesday etc printed underneath.

For the rest of your life you will be woken every morning by someone muttering "what colour is Monday? Is Thursday orange? Babe... what day is purple?"

Ha ha DP had some of those (he chose them himself, the numpty) he has never been known to wear matching socks in his life so he walked around with "Monday" and Thursday" etc. in clashing colours on his feet for a year or so.

ha my dp was boughy these for chridtmas he always has one foot in yesterday amnd te other in tommorrow!

Same goes for children's socks - DD1 (8) to EVERYONE at a family party we went to last Sunday: "I know I'm wearing socks that say "Wednesday" on them but I know it isn't Wednesday really, it's just apparently these are the only ones I've got which are white."
