Older boys' school shoes

Would love recommendations for older boys' school shoes, under £30, please. New to high school uniform, so hoping for recommendations, thanks

Once ours got older (old enough to refuse to wear Clarks!) we went to Sports Direct and got the closest thing to a trainer they could get away with. Several all-black, polishable options there that school will accept, but are just about cool enough for a teen to be happy wearing. They are generally an ok price too.
