Workwear for tall women

I'm hoping that someone much more knowledgeable about fashion can help me. I'm a lawyer and have some important client meetings and pitches coming up. After two maternity leaves, covid etc. I'm very out of touch with what's appropriate here and to be honest I never put much effort into following fashion anyway. It used to be that you would have to wear a suit to these sorts of meetings but I think that might now look dated. I probably want a blazer and dress combination but open to suggestions.

I'm also very tall - 5ft11 and size 10. I've always been really limited in where I can shop for this reason.

Any suggestion of styles and where to look would be welcome. I want to spend as little as possible but don't want to look like I'm dressing cheaply (so realistically might need to spend quite a lot).

Next Tall are good for workwear. The website will give you some good ideas of what looks good.

Ralph Lauren trousers have an 81.3cm (32") inside leg. Is that too short for you?

Karen Millen has a tall range, and her cutting style will suit your shape.

I seem to think that Cos models are all 5'10" but the website's down atm so I can't check.

Nobody's Child 'relaxed fit' trousers are 84cm according to their website, and their 'relaxed' jackets are long anyway, with minimal waist shaping.

M&S have made it a massive slog, and aren't doing Jaeger in tall, but you could check the models! This lady's 5'11".

I bought this a while ago:

https://www.cos.com/en_gbp/women/womenswear/trousers/product.wide-leg-tailored-wool-trousers-black.1129676006.html

It swamped my frame (I'm 5"3). I think the trousers would look amazing on someone tall.

Thanks so much for all your ideas. I didn’t realise Karen Millen did a tall range so going to try that. I like Nobody’s Child and looks like the jackets might work for me.

Marking my place. I am 5'11" with 34 in leg and struggle to find work trousers. The dresses are often too short too. I feel your pain! I did find some of the next tailing range in XL or XXLong was good.

Nice business model but may be too casual

I'm 5ft 10 and Next is my first go to. Dorothy Perkins surprised me with really nice tailored ankle grazers in different colours as I well.

I was also going to suggest next tall.

Also long tall Sally are great. I'm sure some of the next tall range is from them.
