pia jewellery

I also quite like M&S for costume jewellery these days.

ninedragons · 16/04/2008 09:09

Etsy has a zillion pieces of magnificent artisan jewellery in all price ranges and all materials.

turquoise · 16/04/2008 09:11

this is my favourite site, have bought some lovely stuff from here over the years. They do ship all over the world.

moonmother · 16/04/2008 09:57

Blatantly blowing my own trumpet here but I am actually in the process of starting my own jewellery business at the moment-currently the website(it will open 1st of June officially)
I handmake all the jewellery you mentioned and can design anything to your description.

If your interested you can mail me at

I'm looking for people's feedback for my designs so you'd be doing me a favour

ninedragons · 16/04/2008 10:09

Want another critique, moonmother? I'm always happy to look at sparkly things.

moonmother · 16/04/2008 10:27

Have sent you an email, MM.

I forgot to mention my other favourite, the Sundance Catalog

OllieWollieWoo · 17/04/2008 12:54

I really like the stuff Pilgrim do - think its stocked in quite a few places in the UK including various department stores.

Well can I blow my own trumpet too then
I like to make things to order & can do personalised charm bracelets - although it's onlya hobby for me at the mo.

woodenchair · 19/04/2008 10:31

ninedragons, I am LOVING the sundance website!!!! Not just the jewellery too

bettythebuilder · 19/04/2008 10:46

www.perfectlygorgeous.co.uk has handmade jewellery (and the notebooks are lovely, too!)

ninedragons · 19/04/2008 13:04

Sundance is lovely, isn't it? Nothing like a US$450 necklace to make you want to put daisies in your hair and pretend to be an astonishingly well-heeled hippy. Etsy has the same sort of stuff but in general is quite a bit cheaper.

I can attest to Whizzz's skill - she has made me some earrings and a bracelet, and from vague descriptions has managed to put together exactly what I had imagined.

Thanks for lovely links

LOL when I went on the perfectly gorgeous website though and looked at the necklaces page. At first glance looks like they are being modelled by a mummified corpse

  • then realise they are artfully draped on a tree stump!
