Autumn/ winter buys you’ve made so far?

The only deliberate purchase for the season is a pair of new boots from the Clarks outlet. I needed some more after getting a good length of wear after my current pair which have sadly started to let the rain in.

Sandro jumper bought second hand with a high percentage of wool.

Isabelle Marant Etoile jumper NWT at a charity shop. This is thin enough for dull days where it’s more to keep the chill off.

A few weeks ago I bought a navy lambswool sweater with a zip neck from Community clothing.

Its not the most exciting thing, but its lovely and will probably be wearing it all the time.

I’ve bought second hand doc marten boots (Vinted - hope the seller broke them in a bit!), a baby blue cashmere jumper (Vinted), wool tweed miniskirt (-7€ Zara clearance!) im looking for some dark blue levis 501s in my new size having sold mine after weight loss.

I love love love autumn winter dressing.

I love autumnal clothes and have some plans for new buys but there are not many suitable clothes in the shops yet. It mostly seems like ‘late summer’ collections, and I’ve barely worn summer clothes yet this summer.

In September, I’d like to find a cashmere scarf and hat to go with a lovely tweed coat. And brown knee high boots, a couple of cashmere sweaters, new jeans, a cord blazer and a couple of knitted dresses. That is quite a long list!

Quite a few things on the basis that unlike summer stuff they will definitely be worn!

I have been looking at new coats. I had a columbia one for about 6 years that finally needed replacing at the end of the winter.

Have my eye on a grey lambswool jumper from Community Cothing and am on the lookout for dark blue straight leg jeans. Also want a couple ofnice Autumnal coloured blouses for work.

My favourite clothes are wool jumpers in various shades of grey so I love Autumn and Winter!

@LesFlamandes I recommend John Lewis for reasonably priced cashmere hats and scarves.

2 pairs of boots in the Penelope Chilvers sale. Would also like a new coat, and some new, properly warm, socks!

@Judystilldreamsofhorses still annoyed I missed out on the quilted bag sale in COS. Did you get a big one? What is the quality like and think it’s worth paying full price for an airplane bag?

I think it might be a different bag?This one is just a decent sized crossbody for everyday. (Or maybe I carry too much junk…) I think Cos bags are great and have quite a few so I would be happy to pay full price.

I've just brought from next clearance a celtic wool coat, I've been brave and brought a coloured coat , all my winter coats / jackets are black. It was a good reduction £140 down from £399 so hopefully will last me a long time, I usually buy from m&s, john lewis, thIs one feels so warm.

@PragmaticDramatic I was thinking JL. I love their snoods and fancy a set in dark red. The Labrador ate mine last year, so I can justify a new one!

I've brought a gorgeous burgundy dress from vinted excited to wear it on a upcoming autumnal holiday it'll be far too dressy... But sometimes that's ok!

A cardigan from bellerina (yes, that's the name, it's. It isn't spelt wrongly). It's a cheaper version of an American Vintage cardigan...

I really like it. But won't ever wash it ;) Lots of febreeze on the horizon for me and this piece...

Sounds a lot but it's all from Vinted and since losing weight I had literally nothing that fitted.

2 pairs Free People cord Osaka jeans in black/tan.
2 pairs Free People winter weight Osaka jeans in ecru/navy from eBay.
I Free People v neck sweatshirt.

I haven't bought anything yet but I really want a beautiful good quality oversized grey polo neck - I saw Claudia Winkleman wearing one in The Piano with a gorgeous tailored black coat and chunky boots and I'd love to recreate that look even though I'm much shorter and fatter than her. I'd post a pic but cant find one online.

Bought myself a light jacket for those cooler days (that I probably didnt need).
In my defence though Ive always wanted one of those boxy quilted jackets and a beautiful blue paisley Monsoon one in very good condition was just posted.
It would look fab with jeans, trainers and a white tee.....

also it was £5 and I needed to share my find with people who would appreciate such a bargain!!LOL😆

Not sure if this counts but I've had my winter sheepskin boots washed repaired and resoled and new toe and heel panels put in. The boots are 15 years old. I gave them a good wash in the machine with some Woollite and then dried in the sun and sent them off for repair.

Three pairs of jeans. Straight leg from community clothing ( a bit tight atm), and two wide leg from M&S and Sainsbury’s. I’ve just thrown out 3 pairs of knackered old jeans.
