Laser removal of dark patches

Has anyone had this? I’ve tried all sorts but I’ve got 2 patches that just won’t shift.

I haven't had laser for dark patches but had laser to remove a skin lesion and the area left behind is paler than the rest of my skin.

Oh that’s not great, I bet it wasn’t cheap either.
