Guest Dress colour - September wedding

Hi, just that really - been invited to an end of September wedding so wondered what dress colour you'd wear?

I'm thinking autumnal colours such as burgundy, navy or olive/khaki colours. I hate floral numbers.

What would you wear?

Summery colours would also be suitable for September - what suits you best? If it is a very hot day, burgundy may be a bit heavy. But the most important thing is what you'd feel most comfortable in!

I’d just look through all the new collections for a dress (or whatever) I fall in love with! You’ll know if it feels suitably turn of the season, or not.

For me it would probably be the fabric and maybe the structure that make something feel autumnal. Heavier silk, or velvet, or a wool twill - and more tailored things than one generally chooses in summer. But really it’s just a matter of browsing new stuff.

Realising I’ve assumed you want something new, but perhaps you meant colours in your existing wardrobe?

I currently like:

Batsheva light green

Chopova Lowena pink

Lemaire sort of mouse colour

But by mid-September I’ll be thinking of weightier clothes.

I'm the sister of the groom and they are also having a September wedding. I've gone for deep navy blue, my mum has gone for hot pink and orange patterns, younger sister is wearing baby blue.

Don't both looking at burgundy, it's not in it seems! I wanted burgundy bridesmaids dresses, but normal dresses not the specific bridesmaids ones and nothing really available.

Thanks all, navy with a bright colour mixed in may be an option - I'll have a browse and see what comes up.
