Mascara for a very emotional funeral

I'm currently using ELF lash extender but it won't hold up to the demands of a funeral. Please could I have recommendations for a fantastic tear proof mascara preferably in brown?

Trish McEvoy - amazing stuff and genuinely does not budge with tears or rubbing. Got me through a particularly teary funeral with lashes still looking nice at the end..

Thank you. There's a few different ones-which one did you get?

The lash curling one I believe!

Any tubing mascara.

I had my eyelashes dyed for DP's funeral. I knew there wasn't a mascara on the planet that would stand up to that.

Thank you all. It's a tubing one I have but it didn't cope with a good cry yesterday.

Sorry for your loss. Flowers
What about either a clear mascara or an eye lash lift and colour?

Kdubs1981 · 06/08/2024 19:20

Clinique high impact waterproof

SilverCatStripes · 06/08/2024 19:29

Can’t you just go without make up ?

BatshitCrazyWoman · 06/08/2024 19:32

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I'm a huge fan of Max Factor mascaras, and I'm currently using this one https://www.superdrug.com/make-up/eye-makeup/mascara/max-factor-masterpiece-waterproof-mascara-black/p/431270

I can't go without make up. Rosy cheeks/flushed face and otherwise pale with shadows under my eyes. Not a great look at the best of times. I usually wear Better than sex in brown but currently using elf which is a tubing mascara. I like the look it gives but not the way it comes off. I don't want to spend too much on something I might not like. I'm hyperlinking on this to stop thinking of the more important stuff.

Does anyone find that waterproof smudges under the eyes by the end of the day? I don't have this issue with regular mascara. It's annoying. Powder under the lower lashes? Primer?
