Do people wear fascinators anymore?

For reference, I'm 33. I spent most of my 20s wishing I could afford a fascinator to go with my outfit whenever I went to a wedding, but I could never justify the expense for something that would likely only be worn once or twice. Every wedding I went to, it seemed like I was the only woman not wearing one, including women my age. Now I'm earning a bit more, I bought a fascinator last year, but at the two weddings I've been to since, I was the only woman wearing a fascinator! I actually felt a bit out of place, like I was trying to show off or upstage the other guests... :/

So what's the consensus? Have they just gone out of fashion, or were the two weddings I've been to most recently just outliers...?

DH is complaining I’m not wearing a hat/fasinator to a wedding next year. It’s not in a church and I don’t want to.
However even if I did the 3 department stores near me have all closed, there’s on a tiny M&S now, no Accessorize anymore. I wouldn’t buy anything unless I tried it on anyway.
The bride is very young so I doubt many will be wearing them.

When I get a big event to go to (we're out if weddings etc with our age groups and children too.young!) I will be wearing one of these.

Love a fascinator if u get a really modern one, not an old fashioned feather and Lacey one.
