Evening wedding guest dress

My ds6 and I are off to an evening reception in a couple of weeks. Dress code says fun, colourful and no black. Now I have plenty of colourful clothes but none I would say are appropriate for a wedding reception or that I can fit in (peri menopause is kicking my weight upwards and I am desperately trying to reverse the gain). Can anyone suggest something.
I am 5ft 9/10 have a long body and arms and carry my weight on my hips and thighs 12-14 at mo and would prefer a midi or maxi dress. I can go up to £100 or more if its reusable for my nephews wedding next month (full day) . Happy with pre worn too but would like to avoid cheap fast fashion.

Thank you I like the first one, the second one is a bit casual for me and the third a bit plae, I don't massively suit pale colours generally. The last is good but just not for me.

Love this, I do wonder if it will be too hot dancing all night but will order it to try.

You might like onjenu - I’ve seen quite a lot from there on vinted but here’s the website - https://onjenu.com/online-shop/dresses-prints.html
I have a couple of their jumpsuits which are really flattering and lovely to wear.

Love these and have never heard of this label. Do the jumpsuit bodies come up long as I usually have to buy tall to fit in them?

I’d say they’re potentially cut on the tall side - I’m only 5’2 but with a disproportionately long torso (it’s the same as my 6’3 DH…) and large bust and they fit me although the leg length is a little too long - I’ve only ever got them from Vinted for about a tenner though so have always just taken the gamble! The Laurie is the style I’ve been wearing so not sure about the other cuts.

Two of the dresses arrived. I love the wrap dress for my nephews wedding but need to explore some no show pants and a better bra. I love the other one too but not sure for a wedding yet.

The Hope and Ivy pink one really suits you, looks lovely!

Have a look at nobody’s child. Some lovely bright midi dresses there and seem to fit tall people.

The pink one looks lovely on you xx

Pink one looks amazing on you. The other one, it's nice but the combo of the long sleeves with cuffs and the very busy pattern don't quite work IMHO. The pattern is wild then the sleeves are kind of stiff and formal so the effect is just a bit not right.
But the pink one is fabulous. 😍

I agree with PP (even though I suggested the other one) - keep the pink. It is perfect for fun and colourful!
