Which big store/s in London?

Hi, I am the mother of the bride (well stepmother, but her mother won't be there and I brought her up) at a wedding next spring. I am a size 14 (well possibly closer to 16 atm but planning to lose), short, big boobs, aged 60, like prints and florals, definitely no plain colours. Style more "hippy boho" type than classic. Flat shoes only.

I used to live in London and would have probably looked for dresses in Harvey Nicks and Selfridges (I bought my own wedding dress in 2005 in Harvey Nicks). Now I live elsewhere, but go to London for work a few times a year. When I am next there I will make some time to have a look in shops for dresses (and shoes) for the wedding. I will however have limited time. Would HN and Selfridges still be the best stores to look in, for the best chance of finding something if I have limited time? Any other suggestions?

Yes to HN, Selfridges and Liberty. Also try brands like Maje and Sezane

Thanks for the replies! I will go to the big stores but also have a look at the other ones mentioned. I hadn't thought of Liberty's, I will go there too

Liberty would be my first thought. You could probably try Harrods as well.

I mentioned Eponine. It's not a shop as such although it has a studio in London. It's ready to wear dresses have skyrocketed since I bought and the couture was always off limits, but if price is no object and you want something different they're worth a look.

Eponine

READY-TO-WEAR

Ready-to-Wear dresses can be ordered in a standard UK size directly through the Eponine website, and dispatched within three weeks.
