Help! I need to find an outfit for a christening I am going to next month. I am size 14 on top and 16 on the bottom. Any ideas, thanks!

Give us a bit more info....

Which bits of your body do you like (or not like) ?

What sort of colours do you like ?

What do you fancy - dress ? trousers ? skirt etc

budget ?

dustyteddy · 14/04/2008 15:10

Ummm...ok.. I have a defined waist (sort of hourglass figure) Not keen on upper arms or hips and thighs. fairly big norks. (D/DD cup)

I like spring colours (pinks, greens) to go with my strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes.

I think a top and skirt would work well, due to different sizing top and bottom. Equally happy with a dress if it fits well.

Budget - fairly low, no more than £100

Sorry I don't like high heels either!

ok

nice for spring skirt ?

with cardigan and cami/vest underneath

i like this but may be too flowery for some ?

TillyScoutsmum · 14/04/2008 15:26

pretty dress

love this but would need cardy if don't want to show upper arms

dustyteddy · 14/04/2008 15:27

thanks for your help TillyScoutsmum
yes, I like that skirt and cardigan.

Not so keen on the dress material, but like that style.

Can you suggest any shoes to go with the skirt/cardigan outfit, preferable a lowish heel. I have very narrow feet, so it is nightmare for me to find pretty shoes.

ok- will have a look. Are you ok with wedges ?

dustyteddy · 14/04/2008 15:32

yes wedges are fine, thanks. Will need something to strap them onto my feet, as I find they just slip off otherwise and I really don't want blisters!

something like this here

or this

dustyteddy · 14/04/2008 15:38

hmm..can you suggest anything with a strap over the foot at all? Sorry, you're very kind to help, hope I'm not being to diva-ish!

TillyScoutsmum · 14/04/2008 15:45

love these but pushing budget a tad sorry !

TillyScoutsmum · 14/04/2008 15:46

bargain but too flowery ?

dustyteddy · 14/04/2008 15:48

Pink shoes

They're great, I've never had pink shoes before, sadly a tad over budget though.

I like the flowery shoes, but I am a size 7 and they are out of stock

sorry - not too good with the shoes - I have the opposite problem and have fat feet so always avoid straps and low heels. Will keep looking though
