Adidas campus 00s - who has them? Are you happy with them?

Heavily influenced by a previous S&B thread (impressionable, moi?), I ended up ordering the black Campus 00s with the leopard stripes, but now they're here I'm slightly on the fence. I love the colourway (black and leopard are both very me), and they seem comfortable, but the aesthetic isn't like anything I've had before so I'm mulling it over.

Those who have a pair, have you been happy with them? What kind of outfits do you pair them with (in particular, do they work with skirts)? What are they like for walking? (I don't mean rambling or anything, just day-to-day walking on pavements etc) Do they feel heavy after you've walked in them for a while? Thoughts would be super helpful, thanks in advance!

I don't have them (sorry) but ooh I like them. They have a bit of a skater vibe, they remind me of DCs and Etnies. If this is not your aesthetic though, they might not work. I think they'd work well with trousers (skinnies or wide leg) or a mini skirt with bare legs or black tights. Probably not other skirts though.

That's the thing really, I'm drawn to the skater vibe too and have seen a lot of pics of them being worn with short skirts, but I'm probably not brave enough to pair them with a mini skirt 😄If I do keep them I'll probably be boring and just stick to wearing them with jeans. 😄

DD has them and loves them, she said they are very comfortable and wears them with mini skirts and baggy jeans.

I love my Campus - super comfortable!

But I don't tend to wear them with skirts or dresses, mainly with jeans, trousers or shorts. I wear mostly midi-length skirts/dresses, and I don't think the flat skater style works so well with that length.

I have them! I sometimes wear to work (casual code) with black tights and long-sleeved jersey dresses, but I usually wear with wide leg jeans or trousers. Sometimes with black knee length shorts. I love that they work well with either black-based or camel/beige based outfits. I’m considering buying a replacement pair to keep for when these ones wear out 😂

There are so many trainer options so why force a style you’re unsure of?

I know 😄I think mainly because I love the aesthetic, just unsure whether it would love me. 😄

Thanks pps though for the thoughts/styling suggestions, I'm going to try them on with a couple of different outfits tonight and make a final decision. It's especially useful to hear that people find them comfortable, as they are a little heavier than I'm used to and I did wonder about comfort. Obviously can't test them out properly for walking while I'm uncertain whether to keep them!
