Trainers and sandals for Italy with dress

Hi

I'm off to Italy soon. I plan to wear midi dresses a lot of the time but I'm struggling to find footwear that will be comfortable yet somewhat stylish to wear whilst walking the cobbled streets. I do have a pair of white trainers, but I currently have a blister from them from walking a couple of miles a couple of days back. I do also have some nice sandals, but they're flat so walking too far means they're very uncomfortable on the soles of my feet.

I did buy Skechers sandals, but they seem to rub my toes so I'm really struggling here! Can anyone recommend a pair of trainers and sandals that I could wear which will be comfortable. Thank you.

Have you tried a gel insole for your sandals? I love my saltwater sandals but they're very flat, gel heel pad made them comfy for me.

Saltwater boardwalk. Not flat. Can walk for miles and miles.

Hotter have very comfortable souls and their tourist sandals are nice. I would prioritise comfort. Italy is hard on your feet

Teva or try scrolling through Deichmann website. I have footbed sandals and ‘Landrover’ performance style sandals from there that are comfy and relatively practical.

Missing the point slightly, but make sure whatever you get have good grip, visited puglia in June & some of the streets very very slippy, especially in the heat. Have a fab time!
