Please help me find a long lasting, matte, non drying lipstick.....because I can't! 🙄

So I'm really struggling to find what I'm looking for.

I have dry lips, but I much prefer the matte look, to the shiny look. I don't like my lips without liner and lipstick. I feel a bit naked without it, but I feel like I'm constantly reapplying!

I'm a bit of a tricky customer because not many colours actually suit me. Can't do bold colours at all really and tend to stick to nudey , pinky brown tones. Currently wear Charlotte Tilbury Wedding Belles with Spice liner from MAC. Not long wearing at all, but love the colour. I'm cool toned, but honestly I don't really know what you'd call Wedding Belles - cool or warm. I also suit Velvet Teddy by MAC. I was under the impression you should stick to tones that match your skins undertones, but I'm pretty sure I heard Velvet Teddy was super warm. Not sure about Wedding Belles 🤔

Anyway, I'm rambling. Please can you find me something?! Ideally something I can get on next day delivery. I thought the Dior ones looked quite nice, but for the money they'd need to be!

I've tried a couple of the Lisa Eldridge velvet ones after someone recommended on here and very impressed. I've always used the MAC mattes but I find they can be very drying, the LE ones are much less so.

I can't help you with shades but I use this Bourjois stuff and it doesn't move all day.

HUDA beauty do a really long lasting matte lip stain - think it’s for lips and cheeks.

They do one called Rose something which is definitely cool toned as I struggle to wear it as I’m very warm but as a formula it’s wonderful. Not drying at all but does not budge all day.

I am currently hooked on the Maybelline Superstay liquid lipsticks. I bought one and loved it so much I bought two more.

They do a Vinyl one in a square tube which is described as glossy finish, but isn't really, just looks like a regular lipstick, and they also do a Matte Ink one, which might suit you better.

Both types last for hours and hours, literally from when I get up until I scrub it off at bedtime, and there is a good range of colours. I prefer the Vinyl one personally, because I found the colours a little bit less harsh.

Primark have a couple of nice matte nudes. I didn't find them drying at first, until the lid kept falling off . They were £1.50.

Another vote for Maybellibe.

Maybelline matte ink is amazing. Only lip product I ever use.

Have you thought of a tint? I use benefit cha cha tint which is a mango colour, and play tint which is a lovely red- and that looks lovely and matte

i love rom&nd at the moment. They mainly have lip stains. They feel soft but last a while

I got a Stila Stay All Day lip colour in a beauty box. Although the colour didn’t suit me it had a gorgeous velvety matte texture and felt very nourishing (my lips are quite dry too). Staying power was also very good too.

Avon hydramatic I think they're called,really good.

I've got a couple of Vieve ones and they're brilliant. Very long lasting and not at all drying.

Peripera Ink Velvet lip tint is matte and non drying. Absolutely the best. Comes in about 40 colours with a huge range of cool nudes. #17 Strawberry nude is a lovely cool pink nude.

Thanks again everyone. I purchased a Maybelline lipstick in the shade Seductress and I LOVE it 😍 Hasn't budged all day and keeps my lip liner in place too, which was an unexpected bonus 👍 I put a little bit of EA 8hr cream over the top, just to give a bit more moisture, but it hasn't altered the longevity.

I really hope I don't wake up tomorrow with scaly lips! 😬

Max Factor Lipfinity. Acceptable range of colours and stays on all day.

I used to swear by that as it does stay in but it is very drying.

I just came on to say Maybelline Seductress and see you found it! It's my daily go to, dries darker than when applied. It's amazing!

MUA in Superdrug do lovely Matt lipsticks. I have Super Nude with matching lipliner. Cheap as chips and really Matt but I don't find them drying.
