Yes, I’m aware I sound like a teenager 🤦‍♀️
long time single, finally with a good guy 😊still in honeymoon phase and he’s taking me camping next week as he loves camping. I’m more of a hotel girl 😂but think it sounds new and I’m up for it and he’s so passionate about it that it’s infectious, he’s taking care of all the practicalities and I just need to pack my bag.
but what do I pack?! 5 says, Scotland so mad weather, size 12 with thighs that are
buried under cellulite so can’t wear shorts without feeling wickedly self conscious, Campsite is remote but has showers and nearby town I think we’ll have a meal in one night -
wth do I wear?!
in my daily city life I live in uniform of
scamp and dude hoodies, mom jeans, veja trainers, maxi dresses. You get the pic.

first wee break together so hoping for
pics and in my head want to look like a 20 something cool camper which clealry
cant happen!

TIA

I think your regular clothes will be fine.
Enjoy!

I’d go for leggings/yoga pants so that your legs are covered to save getting bitten by insects. Take insect repellent as the midges will be a pain in the evenings! Baby wipes for a freshen up, clothing wise layers are ideal and keep your PJs inside your sleeping bag so they stay warm and dry, then only put them on when it’s time for bed. Take flip flops for the shower - and probably a loo roll just in case there isn’t any, or it runs out.

Maybe take dry shampoo to save washing hair if it’s cold and wet or you may not be able to dry it very well. Maybe a cute hat so that you can get nice pics even with rubbish hair! And a lash lift if you usually wear eyeliner or mascara, so that you look pretty without needing make up. I recently bought a Luxe lash lift kit and it’s made a huge difference to how I feel about my make up free face. I nearly paid £200 for permanent eyeliner last year as I was worried about my BF seeing me in the mornings without my face on. This has really helped my confidence.
