M & S Skincare

Our M & S has just started stocking their skincare and makeup ranges and I wondered if anyone had tried anything that was good? I picked up some eye make up remover as it was so much cheaper than my usual Bodyshop one and it is really nice so I would like to give some of the other stuff a try. I'm sure I read that it is actually the same as a more expensive brand but repackaged Is this true?

Doubt it.

Not strictly what you were asking, but unless you want to look like Medusa, do NOT use their hair"care." I don't even know if they still do it, it may have been called Max Mara or something similar, but be warned: you could end up looking like this

The posh range is good, Active something I think its called, in quite posh packaging.
Am v happy now they are endorsed by BUAV as being bunny friendly (ie no animal experiments) and shop there now rather than the Body Shop.

it's elizabeth arden.

I heard ages ago that it's made by Clarins but that could be just a rumour. Or the rumour could have been that Clarins were going to sue them because the packaging was similar. (Toddles off to refill vat of wine)

I think M&S are putting around rumours that their skincare is made by a v expensive company so everyone buys it.

Pannacotta · 13/04/2008 21:36

Is does look a bit like CLarins packaging, but I really doubt its the same - the M&S range was only recently endorsed by BUAV and neither E Arden or Clarins has that endorsement.

I heard years ago that it was made by Clarins but I've never used the stuff. Worried that it might be light M&S shoes and a bit of a let down.

Pannacotta · 13/04/2008 21:57

Flibberty its very good in fact I was pleasantly surprised, much better than the shoes!
