An app to record daily outfit worn

Hello S&B,

I am 52 and have recently lost some weight. I have revamped my wardrobe mainly via eBay with clothes I like and couldn't afford new. I've bought baukjen, Boden, jigsaw, Hobbs and whistles.

I'm still trying to work out what suits me and what actually gets worn on a regular basis from my wardrobe.

Does anyone know if there is an app that allows you to upload a daily photo of you wearing your outfit.

This daily record would let me review on a three/six monthly basis the outfits I've worn and what worked and didn't work.

I could then resell the items I don't wear or don't look good on me.

Thankyou in advance x

I've been using Indyx. But you have to load up photos of your clothing items first. Then you can use them to build outfits. Then you can assign outfits to a date on the calendar and then upload a selfie ( or more) against the outfit.

It will track how many times you've worn an item and if you put in the price you paid for it it will calculate the cost per wear.

I fancy one that I don't have to take pictures of all the clothes I already have, my wardrobe is a messy disgrace. More an app to collate photos of my daily outfits to review.

Thanks

I use an analog version. All my hangers face in. If I used the item I put the hanger facing out when I hang it up again. Every year I chuck what hangers are still facing inside.

You could post them on Instagram but keep the account totally private, so that only you can see the photos?

I use the Whering App.
I tend to download the shop images of all my new items. I love the fact you can track your clothes usage, the archive function & the lookbook / moodboards section.

I take a photo in the hallway before I go out then have them all in an album so I can easily see what suits/what I tend to go for.

I have not used it recently but I have Stylebook

On the back of this thread I’ve done some searching and found Whering - I’ve been playing with it for a couple of hours and it seems pretty good.

you can upload pictures of all of your wardrobe items and then create looks (like style book) but it also allows you to create mood boards which I think you could use to record actual photos of the outfits you’ve worn.

you can mark when you’ve worn an outfit and it runs stats on how often you wear it. It also tracks spend on wardrobe.

so far so fun

I use the Whering moodboards as inspiration for outfits, next season etc.
The look books I use for outfits I feel good in. My everyday outfits I record using the blue button at the side & assign it to the specific date so I have a record of my actual individual item usage. Apparently there is a packing facility for holidays on there but I haven't found/used it yet. My holiday outfits are all in a summer holiday lookbook folder.
