Apple shapes - what are you wearing on your lower halves?

Are people wearing jeans or skirts? What styles?

I'm often in dresses but I have some lovely tops and I don't know how to style stuff on my lower half without feeling huge.

Boot cut or wide legged pants. Got a short tube skirt, too but I feel a bit unbalanced in that.
Normally if I wear a skirt I wear a top that finishes above the hip, of which I don’t have many. 😄

If I'm going out I try to wear something a bit more structured, which looks nice, but starts to dig into my apple tummy after a while. I like The White Co Brompton Jean, I think the turn ups help balance me out.

But for everyday/at home comfort I live in Hush Monaco trousers which are gently cuffed. White Co flat fronted, navy, wide leg, slightly cropped linen trousers and Lululemon bottoms of various styles, but with the amazing Allign waist band which is so comfortable over my tummy :)

I can see how that Monsoon skirt could work for me, so thanks!

Would fitted denim maxi skirts work for apples?

I think it could look great, but I’d be careful that the top wasn’t too long.
There’s an apple shaped woman on YouTube I saw from a link here on S&B: she had a long fitted faux leather skirt. She tucked the top in a tiny bit and put a skinny belt on. She looked great.
