I like Lipsy which is sold through Next. I got some wide legged trousers from there a couple of months ago which I have been living in. The main disadvantage is my size sells out pretty quickly.

Uniqlo if you live near a branch, as they offer free alterations in store.

Sorry I should say - I'm an "inverted triangle" body shape.

What’s the quality of ASOS-era-Topshop trousers like? I bought a skirt (out of sheer nostalgia) last year and both fabric and construction were appalling. Almost laughably so.

I bought some cropped linen blend wide leg trousers the other week form H&M and they were a normal length on me 😃. New look petite I find quite good too for trousers. Have bought some flared leggings from there recently.

Worn on holiday this year a few times and washed once. Held up well during flight and full days travel without bad creasing.
Quality seems ok to me but they are inexpensive so I'm not expecting much
