Mid-rise kickflare/bootcut jeans for shorties

Looking for a pair of flattering jeans, budget up to £100. Please don't suggest M&S as I'm done with them.

How short? These come in two lengths; the Regular are 29 inch inside leg. (Some of their other shapes might be better to shorten.)

Very short, 5.1". In fact I think I've changed my mind and I should go for straight leg that I can roll up.

Do you never take your clothes to an alterations service? I’m around 5’3 and would be very miserable if I had to walk around in rolled up trousers all the time! Instead I buy what I like and get things altered to fit me.

You should be able to find a few places in your nearest town.

Segue: are bootcuts back? Am old enough to remember them the first time around. I like those CC ones.

Levi 725s. The most flattering jeans I’ve ever had. They do mid sizes and different lengths. I’m 5’ and get either the 26 or 28 length. I’m a size 10 and get the 28 or 29 waist.

They don’t go baggy as you wear them, wash really well and wear well to. I often get them on eBay or depop now. Just awaiting some pale blue ones from depop for £22.

My DD got some lovely bootcut jeans from asos petite, she is about 5'1"

Ironically the only other flattering high st bootcut jeans I've found that are properly short enough are Tesco! (if you can find your size) I used to love Levi's as a teenager but can't find any styles that are now flattering on me ☹️

M&S are hopeless for petites now they've messed around with the leg length on their jeans and trousers!!

I wear the m&s ones in regular because the short are too short but I pin the back of them up with a safety pin. It's not the most chic of looks but it's ok for a day in the office.

Thanks all. Will look at options mentioned. I do generally like Levi's but the 725s are high waist, so that's a no for me. I know that I can get the length altered, although not always (flares, bootcut shape for example). My main issue is usually the waist to crotch ratio, which is why I look for mid-rise.

I haven't as I can't wear high rise - these days my boobs just rest on the waistband 😂

Hollister do them in short leg length & they're a very flattering fit.
I wouldn't buy any other brand now since discovering them.

Hollister jeans look good thanks. I am struggling to work out the sizes though. I'll order size 8 and 10 and see which one fits netter, so it that a size 2 and a 4?

Sorry I've just seen this, one second I'll check. I order a 2 usually & find the flare & bootcut ones stretchy.

Yes so an 8 is a 2 & looks like a 4 is a 10. Their returns are very straightforward if you ordered both & returned one.

I have 2 pairs of these (blue and dark grey) and while I love the fit and the thick denim the quality is shocking. The blue ones shrunk so much I can no longer wear them and both faded and got those crease fading lines and not in a nice worn way.
I've only had them for less than a year so sadly not the investment I hoped for.
