Frizzy hair halo

I have wavy hair. I often put my hair up in a ponytail which looks fine in the morning but pretty quickly, I have a frizz halo all round my head.

I don’t straighten frequently and let my hair dry naturally.

As a mum of 2 under 2, I already look pretty tired, with the frizzy hair, I look frazzled!

Any solutions on how to tame it?

Daughter has the exact same issue. She doesn't like wearing it down as it makes her hot but also hasn't got into hair care. Plus I am not exactly that clued up about hair and beauty so am no help

Sounds like my hair type and I found it easiest to wear in defined waves, curly girl method. It's quick since you don't dry it.

But if you're wanting to stay as you are I think getting a lot of extra moisture in and keeping humidity out needs to be the way. I avoid serums because they exacerbate the problem, use leave in conditioners without silicon and any humidity protection spray.

I do like aveda and living proof products but the umberto Giannini curl range has some decent products too.

Also hairspray! It seems so old fashioned but does help. Any old stuff works.
