The illusive white t-shirt

Help!

I am looking for what, in theory, should be easy to find - a white t-shirt.

It needs to be:

Loose fitting
Short sleeved
NOT SEE THROUGH!

Surely such a thing must exist! Any tips?

Next plain tshirts are actually pretty good quality this year for the first time in decades

Next girls. They go up to age 16 and fit me(10-12 ) and are cheap. They come in a 3 or 5 pack for PE!😂

Sorry I know that’s considered bad manners but I’m an English teacher and can’t help myself.

I really rate Arket’s tees - the heavyweight boxy t-shirt sounds like it would fit your brief pretty much exactly.

@TheWoodlanders why would you do this? The OP wants a t-shirt, not an English lesson. (I’m a lecturer so I get it, but if I went around correcting every post I saw online I would end up insane. Use your inside voice.)

Zara. They have some loose, white t-shirts in what looks to be a good quality, weighty fabric.

I remember reading about white shirts from the series 'the bear' going viral for being good but they are expensive. I just buy whatever.

Jigsaw have lovely to shirts..white and orange and navy etc. I gave a lovely boat neck white to shirt from uniqlo, not sure if it's current. Will have a look

I think it’s nice but pricey. I’d want at least two.

The next ones are fantastic this year. They’re thick, wash well and don’t go out of shape when washing. Definitely not see through

I love this one I got from Love and Roses via Next.

Could you link to the exact ones please? The couple I got from Next last year weren't good, they got those annoying tiny holes in them at the waist after one or two washes.

Go off fashion brands. Try Cotton Traders or Fruit of the Loom.

I have this Reiss one and would recommend - it has a split hem but that doesn't bother me this one
