Anyone know when the M&S sale starts?

Waiting patiently!

I have no clue but I’ll just hang round here for the news!

Normally mid August I think as I've ordered when I'm on holiday before!

Mid August seems very late so I’m guessing there won’t be much that anyone wants by then!

I've been waiting for it to start for a couple of weeks now. I think pretty much every other retailer has started their sale. I imagine every shop has an awful lot of summer wear - vest tops, strappy dresses etc- that hasn't even made it out on to the shop floor as demand hasn't been there as it's been cool and rainy till now.

I was thinking it surely must be soon!

There are very few retailers who haven't started sales.

Maybe they're holding off for better weather & taking a bit of a gamble.

Or waiting till the end of the month before we all get paid.

I'm waiting to buy some toiletries from the Fragrance Society and Burst range. I don't need them right away, so I'm looking out for the sale.

I asked the cashier serving me aweek ago about the sale and she said " the end of the month" . I was surprised she told me that! I'm thinking next Thursday or the Thursday after that 🧐

I love the M&S sale. Any idea when they reduce further, last year I walked into store when all the sale items had been reduced to 70%. I could really do with that again apart from boots, I got three new pairs for less than £20 each.

I was in m&s last night and they’ve got a lot of autumn ranges in stock. Hopefully all those summer clothes will be be getting sale stickers on out back.

It looks like the sale has started. Unfortunately I don't think it includes the beauty brands I was after (Burst and Fragrance Society,) but I hope other people get what they want.

I managed to get some holiday bits & nightwear. Can’t beat the sales

The one time when insomnia is a bonus. I managed to bag a few things at 3am. Stuff is selling out fast.

Ì bought the shower gel I had my eye on at full price. It cost £7.50 for 500ml, which I'd never usually spend on a shower gel. Although I'd buy two 250ml ones for £3.75 each, which doesn't make sense, so that's how I justified it to myself.

Not much in my local branch (big city centre). I usually do well, but nothing this time. Fancied that denim suit, which was 50% off, but the jacket was all skinny arms & boxy trunk, so badly cut. Maybe it’s the over-sized blazer look? Nor for me!
Only thing I bought was two basic black t-shirts. Not heavy cotton, nice & light for summer. The one I wore yesterday already has one of those tiny holes (what is that???) in the front. Haven’t even washed it yet… Wearing the second one today.
