Long story short!
White company have had a new till system which is glitching. I got charged rather than refunded for something I was returning, then the corrective refund has now gone to someone else's card. I'm left with no item but having paid for it twice and been refunded once.
I'm in the process of getting a credit card chargeback for the erroneous payment as the white company just maintain it's been paid (which it has but to someone else) and don't seem to want to know or want to help. I'm quite shocked at how poor the experience has been.
So - check your bank balance if you've shopped there recently as a staff member told me it was happening fairly regularly. I won't be using my bank card in there again.
