makeup/skincare crepey inner eyes

i have hit middle age and the one thing that i hate is that when i put on foundation/concealer around my eyes, they have got crepey on the inner corners where they meet my nose.

makeup gathers and clumps there in a horrible way. generally i have to apply and then try and remove again with a cotton bud which takes off more than i want left there for coverage.

does anyone have any advice ? is a a matter of changing both eye cream and concealer
/foundation ?

Face oil before make up, smooths out everything for me, it's worth a try.

I use a rose oil or a squalane neither are expensive. I hope it works for you.
