What top to wear with this skirt?

I’m totally stumped about what to wear with this aligne skirt, I’d be really grateful for any ideas! It’s a silky fabric, teal and cream/beigey stripe- I’d love to take it on holiday next week but no idea about the colour or shape of top that’ll look good. I tried white, but that makes the lighter stripe look dirty, black looks terrible, green clashes with the teal…bright pink is jarring..why is this so difficult!

I’d wear a black vest top-why does black look awful?

Ahh yellow! Thank you! I forgot about yellow. Great.

Ochre/mustard yellow goes nicely with teal. Or coral. Aqua.

Other ideas here:

I wear a lot of muted colours so I would wear a close fitting top (vest top or tshirt) in beige, light grey if it doesn't clash, or burnt orange.
