Protecting bleached hair on holiday - swim and sun

I've got bleached blonde hair for the first time ever and am heading off on holiday soon for two weeks. I plan to be in the pool daily!
I had my hair toned today and it's a lovely ash-y colour now, should I just accept that the new tone will be gone very quickly with daily swims?
My hairdresser told me to put a leave in conditioner in to protect it from the chlorine (I'm worried about it going green). Can anybody recommend any tried and tested routines / products to help me look after my hair when I'm away? I'm usually only wash my hair twice a week so that in itself is going to be a big change and I'm not sure how my hair will cope!
Any advice will be gratefully received Smile

Philip Kingsley 'Swimcap' is apparently excellent - my hairdresser recommends is a lot

I used to swim everyday with bleached hair, the colour was fine (thank you purple shampoo) but my hair suffered a bit, despite wearing a cap.
One thing that was quite important was to wet the hair with clear water before getting in the pool, in order to soak the hair with good water rather than with chlorine.

Also, I wasn't washing my hair everyday. Just rinsing it thoroughly + leave in conditionner

You might get some good tips from The Blowout Professor (he has changed my hair after following his advice! I wish I had watched this video before my 2 week holiday to Turkey where my hair came back looking like wire! 😰)
