Hello,

First post on S&B. I am looking for recommendations for very good dermatologists in London?

Thank you in advance!

Sandra Lee is fab, but I'd think that her medical office in California might be a wee bit further from London than the OP was hoping for.

@LaBrasseria2024

Could you say what you are hoping to see the Dermatologist about? Knowing that might mean that particular names spring to mind.

BlueAnd · 13/07/2024 09:30

What’s the condition you’re hoping to treat, or the result you’re hoping to achieve? Different derms have different specialties (sic).

Make sure you see someone who is also a consultant dermatologist in the NHS, even if you’re seeing them privately, and even if your needs are cosmetic. Otherwise you’re in cowboy country, especially in Harley Street.

Thischarmlessgirl · 13/07/2024 10:53

Mr Ratnaval on Harley Street, he has a clinic is beaconsfield too

LaBrasseria2024 · 13/07/2024 16:03

@BlueAnd - actually a few different concerns. Some mild rosacea, but also a bit of acne and a bit of ezcema/dermatitis.

I am also looking to get a bit of filler dissolved! So someone who could address all of that would be great

Dr Haus is well regarded, I've heard.

You don’t say where you are in London, but I’m assuming you can reach the centre of London fairly easily. I would start with Dr Caroline Hewitt in the Imperial group - Chelsea & Westminster, Hammersmith Hospitals etc - and get an onward referral.

Hi if you haven't already found someone I would highly recommend Dr Ophelia https://drophelia.com/ she is a consultant dermatologist on harley street, cleared my acne within a few visits.
