Best hairbrush - recommend me something!

Hello all, my very old hairbrush (that I have used probably way too long) is falling to bits and I'm desperate for a new one. Any recommendations of a great brush? My hair is fine and wavy, and I don't style it much (usually just put some smoothing balm on it after washing) so it it really for gentle detangling. My scalp gets a bit sore at times so something that isn't too harsh.

Saw a lovely hairbrush at Liberty's over the weekend but it was £138 😂so I'm looking for something a LOT more affordable.

I really like the Moroccan Oil paddle brush that replaced an old paddle brush.

Denman. I have the traditional brush and the paddle brush.

GHD paddle brush for detangling and Mason and Pearson to gently distribute oils along the hair shaft for a fabulous shine

This Lee Stafford Coco Loco handbag size one is great, it's infused with coconut oil. I was bought it for Christmas two years ago and I've bought lots since as presents

The Le Bon Brosse one’s are fab but yes super pricey.

Rock & ruddle have some lovely ones, I originally bought one for my child but have one myself for my work bag. They have different sizes, you can choose the bristle mix, plus some pretty designs.

Dd also has a Wet Brush which I’ve also used and liked. They’re cheap and good for detangling

Yes I wish I could afford one!

@Rina66 oo, coconut-scented brush sounds luscious!

Lots of options to look at - thank you. My current one is a Denman but it's so huge for my short-ish sleek hair!

Highly recommend a Mason and Pearson. Had one for my 18th and it's still going strong 25 years later
