I've been invited to a birthday party at a cool members' club in a few weeks. Dress code has been described as 'smart'. What should I wear? I was thinking a jumpsuit but everything seems to look either like something you'd wear to work or something you'd wear to a wedding (or super casual).
I'm 42, size 14 or maybe 12 on a good day. I'm finding it tricky as don't want to look like mutton dressed as lamb but don't want to go too frumpy either, especially as everyone else at the party will be a lot 'cooler' than me. I don't get out much 😂
