Best SPF for lasting in swimming pools

Hello!

is it appropriate to post this here?

Going to Egypt in August and need a sunscreen for my daughter that will last the longest possible time at factor 50 in the pool without irritating skin. (Also for me - I’ll just use what she uses).

Im leaning towards P20 50+ kids. Happy to pay for expensive brands if it means no painful red rash on her face and no sunburn. Easily absorbed is a bonus.

Hearing some bizarre rumours about factor 30 being better than 50… surely that’s codswallop?

P20 isn't all day if in water we had factor 50 and had to reapply every 3 hours to stop burning (we were in Turkey when there was the June heatwave).

The best we have found for kids is boots soltan 3 hour swim protection factor 50. Its £10 a bottle but works. Would also recommend a decent spa 50 long sleeve rash vest or swim suit (some have it built in).

We also use surfers skin on the face ontop it's several hours water protection and doesn't sting the eyes!
