If you were starting from scratch with your make up what would you buy?

I seem to have numerous Lisa Eldridge lipsticks and my classic Chanel foundation. Dry skin with a blinking chemo look about it so I do need some mainly everyday make up. I find Trinny too drying and Charlotte Tilbury too insipid. I had a Narrs blusher in a coral that lasted for years I need to replace that and a bronzer and tinted moisturiser. Any recommendations. Im not keen on masscara as my eye lashes dont seem to be doing much.

Look at a bb foundation .. I use a no.7 one after trying Olay . Found this better for coverage

I like Bare Minerals make up, just tried their blonzer ..cross between a blush and a bronzer - really like it.

Clinique Even Better foundations

Erborian bb or cc cream (the BB is more foundation-like, the CC more cream-like) - both excellent. A decent brow pencil - mines a Charlotte Tilbury one. I like Dior for lip products. Not so fussy re brands for blusher or highlighter, there are so many nice ones. I got a lovely Florasis face powder (Chinese brand I think) - really light but works, and lasts for ages.

Things I re buy over and over

A BB/CC/tinted moisturiser - NARS and Erborian are good, but sadly not perfect for me shade wise.

Foundation- I like the NARS sheer glow and the Laura Mercier weightless

Concealer- NARS radiant creamy concealer is the best IMO having tried a lot

Eyebrow pencil - I use NYX micro brow pencil, cheapish and good

Mascara - I keep coming back to Clinique high impact mascara

Lips - I don’t use much but I like the Burts Bees range (tinted balms and lip shimmer plus their overnight moisturiser) and Clinique Almost Lipstick

I have yellow, olive skin so can only use Estée Lauder, I find

Boots No7 Hydraluminous foundation. Their serum concealer too.

Cream blusher - currently using a Bobbi Brown one.

Maybelline eyebrow pencil.

I find the Clinique almost lipstick quite drying and prefer lip glosses. I got an Eva Perez lip and cheek pencil recently and I'm impressed by how long wearing it is without being drying. Also Boots No7 Moisture Drench lipstick is good, comfortable to wear and lasts well.

I've also got Pai The Incredible Glow Bronzing Drops. Mix a drop with your moisturiser for a natural glow.

I like the Trinny eye shadows as they're really easy to apply and build up.
