I’m planning on wearing this dress to a day time event and need a bag

I’m wearing black shoes and was thinking a clutch in black but have no idea what shape or size. I'd go with a blue clutch bag to match the blue in the dress.

I'd go black clutch to match your black shoes as you suggested. Just a simple shape. Size doesn't matter too much but I notice smaller seems to be more fashionable now. Are your shoes patent? If so, get a patent bag too. Lovely dress.
