Black summer KNEE LENGTH dress?

Hi all, has anyone seen either this dress or something similar please? Google reverse search isn’t bringing it up as I suspect it’s not a recent one (it’s from an article on Lookastic).

I’m looking for a black cotton or linen blend dress with bra-friendly straps but specifically knee length (and not a ‘flouncy’ skirt).

there’s a lot of similar midi length dresses and I even have a similar one from H&M but there’s so much material in the skirts they just don’t suit me so wanting something non-fussy and knee length which I fear no longer exists as an option!

Oh that is nice but not sure I could justify even the sale price on that!

Next has loads, you need to filter in mini it doesn't have a knee length option but they're there.

This from Next? I'm 5'5 and it's knee length on me.

I’ve got a midi length bra friendly strap dress in black which I shortened to knee length
From Boden - last year in the sale but might come up somewhere - I’ll try and find it

its obv out of stock at boden as last years but you might find it somewhere, it was easy to shorten

Thank you all, I did see that Roman one come up in a search but yes probably a bit too long on me. I’m 5 foot 7 so mini dresses do tend to be a bit short on me, I have quite short legs though which is why I think midi length drowns me.

I will check out next though, I’m surprised I can’t find the actual dress though as it has quite specific details (square neck, scallop trim, tie belt).

And yeah I wish I could shorten dresses @Storynanny1 but I don’t have a sewing machine

You don’t need a sewing machine! DIY isn’t compulsory. Your local dry cleaners or alteration service will shorten a dress for very little money.

(In past centuries even the poorest people had all their clothes effectively made to measure. It’s only now that mass production is the default that it’s so hard for so many to find clothes that actually fit in the shops. So keeping a competent alterations service on hand makes life much easier.)
