I wanted to post a quick message about tear trough/ under eye filler. I had it first about 4 years ago (was sad about deep under eye hollows which I suspect was made worse by using an eyelash growth serum I was using at the time). It was a success in so far as it looked better than pre- filler and was pleased with it. About 2.5 years later I was still happy with my under eye (looking back, the majority of filler had probably worn off but natural contours had returned and looked fine although naturally a little hollow and always need a bit of concealer!).
But my dentist suggested a bit of a ‘top up’ and silly me thought why not? Well I it done (less than 1ml for both) and HATED IT. Looked puffy and a bit lumpy under my eyes and just a bit ‘weird’- like my face was a bit flat. Hoped it would look better after a few weeks/ months but nope! Agonised about getting it dissolved but put off by horror stories about getting dissolver in that area.
Anyway… I just wanted to say it’s taken well over 18 months but it’s finally starting to noticeably wear off and I have my face back! I just wanted to post this to give anyone who has experienced the same situation but doesn’t feel comfortable dissolving some hope!
